| 英文描述 | ACTINOMYCES PYOGENES was isolated from lesions in the proximal tibia, thoracic vertebral column, and proximal tarsal bone of lame turkeys. Affected birds averaged 16 weeks of age, and about 1/5 of affected flocks were lame. Flock mortality was increased. Only male birds were affected; the disease was experimentally reproduced, but no attempt was made to infect female birds. Dx by lesions and culture. |
